Simply scaling my older heads to match up with the linden head would make it clip through the hair around the forehead area as well as bangs misaligning with eyebrows and eyes. This problem was greatly mitigated by non rigged heads with the ability of simply resizing and positioning the head to just fit the hair, which you cannot do with a rigged mesh head and this is why i had to make 2 different shapes of the M4 anime head. So heres the frustrating part, one of the reasons why the M4 anime head often ends up so goofy looking unless you know what youre doing with it, and main reason why i dont just wanna port the kemono head to bento is the fact that all the rigged mesh hair on SL is made for the default shape of the linden avatar head. The pain in the ass of making non human heads I originally wanted to make a slightly more western furry style head this time around with a longer snout but i lost the reference image of the particular style i was going for so i had to gather a bunch of more references and i was kinda torn between 2 different styles of head and so my head project got split into 2.

But at the same time i kinda regret not sharing some of the WIP material cause some of it looked way cooler than the finished product lol.Īnyways so what im currently working on is going to be at least 2 different heads for furry avatars (might be 3 but will see how it goes). Ok so i havent posted any work in progress stuff in years, mostly because i was too lazy or not confident enough on how long the project is going to take and not wanting to create another cyberpunk hype situation where the developers announce a game too early and than take forever to finish it, making people wait.

Ok so the heads are done being scripted and we are doing some last minute additions and improvements on some of the features (like the ability to do a cross eyed look) and polishing things up, i have improved a few meshes and animations.
